Franchise Announcement
The CICL Board of Directors approved today the moving of the Bluff City, Illinois, franchise to Huntingburg, Indiana. No further details were announced. This means that CICL baseball will be played in 3 new cities in 2005: Huntingburg; Lisle, Illinois and East Peoria, Illinois. These three cities join the Springfield Rifles, Danville Dans, Quincy Gems, Twin City Stars and Galesburg Pioneers for the upcoming season, the first season in its 40+ year history the league has fielded eight teams.
